In It For The Child Training
Presented by: AFFM Trainer Hether Andrson
This training is designed to build on the knowledge that participants have from the RFIT or Kinship training. We will focus on objective communication and documentation skills that will help resource families support the children objectively and effectively. With the intentions that increased objective communication and documentation skills will be used, making communicating with the department and biological families successful and effective.
This training will refresh resource families on AFFM resources, Liaison services and DHHS rules and policies such as; the OCFS Practice Model and the Little Red book that may have been misplaced and/or forgotten.
 
 
Lauri Legere, Training Coordinator for AFFM, will facilitate the meetings until a permanent facilitator can take over
*FREE onsite childcare is provided for all children with advance notice.
*Mileage reimbursement for families traveling more than 30 miles.
