Holiday Gift Program for kinship families

The 2007 Holiday gift program is over, and what a success it was!  Thanks to the generosity of "The Spirit of Giving" Committee in Ogunquit, we were able to provide gifts for 350 children in Kinship placements!  That is almost double last years!  Ogunquit is fortunate to have such a remarkable community, and Adoptive and Foster Families of Maine is blessed to be the benefactor or their generosity!  Thank you, Spirit of Giving Committee, for outdoing yourselves again this year!

United Bikers of Maine, Unicel and the Central Maine Chapter of Harley Davidson, and Shaw's on Main Street in Bangor also contributed gifts to children in kinship care during the holidays. Thanks to the support of these businesses and organizations, AFFM was able to provide some much needed Christmas relief. We offer these groups our sincere appreciation. The generosity they displayed is nothing short of fantastic!

If you are a kinship provider and would like to register your child(ren) to receive these wonderful donated gifts, please call AFFM at 800-833-9786. To register we need your name, address, and phone number, as well as the child's age, sex, and any special interests.
