Adoptive and Foster Families of Maine is supported by donations, grants, a contract with the Maine Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), and a sub-contract with Families and Children Together (FACT) to provide
kinship support.
The association maintains a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt status.
